P235GH steel used for gas, 45Mn2 steel is a kind of alloy structural steel. 45Mn2 steel is made of high-quality carbon structural steel with proper addition of manganese. 45Mn2 steel belongs to the medium carbon quenched and tempered steel in alloy structural steel. The parts made with 45Mn2 steel can obtain high strength and good toughness after quenching and tempering at high temperature. That is to say, 45Mn2 steel has good comprehensive mechanical properties and is often used to manufacture shafts, connecting rods, fasteners which bear large loads.

When using p235gh steel used for gas, low-alloy high-strength steel, it is desirable to take advantage of its high strength and use a thinner section, not only for saving weight but also for the economy as much as possible. However, the corrosion factor must be fully considered. The thinner the steel section, the more attention should be paid to corrosion protection. They required DNV test for the MTC and each tube. DNV inspector tested all the tubes and MTC. When our customer received the reports, they gave us a second order of 852.5 tons. Since then we maintain a long time cooperation relationship.
