The difference between alloy steel plate and carbon steel has the following points. Third, carbon steel has poor tempering stability. In order to ensure high strength, low tempering is used for carbon steel during quenching and tempering treatment, so the toughness of the carbon steel is insufficient. Fourth, the corrosion resistance, low heat resistance, and wear resistance of carbon steel cannot be compared with alloy steel, P235GH material specification.

This material has better corrosion resistant property than 304/314L for it's higher Ni and Mo content.
