What is the difference between 20G and 20# steel grade? The difference between 20G and 20# steel is very big. The chemical elements, mechanical properties, service environment and price of 20G and 20# steel are very different. P295GH plate, 20G and 20# steel can not be compared. They are not of the same grade level, and can not be replaced by each other. 20# steel is high quality carbon structural steel, 20G steel is high pressure boiler steel. p295gh plate, 20# steel does not bear pressure, while the use temperature of 20G steel is 450~480℃.

T11 steel is a steel grade produced according to American Standard ASTM A213. T11 steel is used for boiler, superheater and heat exchanger tubes with minimum wall thickness. Chemical composition of ASTM A213 T11 steel: C 0.05-0.15, Si 0.50-1.00, Mn 0.30-0.60, P, S ≤ 0.025, Cr 1.00-1.50, Mo 0.44-0.65. Mechanical properties of ASTM A213 T11 steel: tensile strength ≥ 415 Mpa, yield strength ≥ 170 Mpa, elongation ≥ 30%. The main ASTM A213 steel pipe grades are A213 T11, A213 T12, A213 T22, p295gh plate, etc.

Difference between Q345R boiler vessel plate and ordinary Q345 plate, p295gh plate:Q345R boiler vessel plate is pressure vessel steel, Q345 plate is low alloy steel.Q345R boiler vessel plate generally requires flaw detection and positive deviation, while Q345 plate generally has lower requirements.In terms of performance, Q345R boiler vessel plate and Q345 plate are of the same level.
